Can the staircase be installed so it is removable?
If you use it with our Bar & Hook Kit, then yes. Check out our Bar & Hook Kit on the website.
What makes this staircase so compact?
Firstly, the steeper pitch (63 degrees) means it takes up less floor space and secondly, the ‘paddle’ step design allows for a narrower staircase. See our specification sheet for more information.
Can I change the pitch of the staircase?
Unfortunately not. The stringers (sides) of the staircase are rebated, to allow for the treads to slot in. Changing the pitch would mean the treads are not parallel to the floor.
Do you know what the ‘going’ is? I have limited floor space.
This is all dependant on the height of the staircase. Take a look at our technical diagram, this will show you exactly how far the staircase protrudes from the wall.
What wood is the staircase made from?
We use spruce timber on all our Space Saving Staircases, because it is a lot more durable than Pine.
Can the staircase be painted?
Of course, you can paint to match your existing décor.
I really like the product but it is just too wide for where I need to put it. Can I make it narrower?
This is the narrowest model we do and because of the ‘paddle’ designed treads, the width cannot the altered.

Orders placed before 12.00pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched same day on a 1-3 day delivery service.
Orders placed after 12.00pm will be treated, for the purposes of delivery, as having been placed the next working day.
Working days are defined as Monday – Friday (excluding bank and public holidays) – therefore any orders placed after 12.00pm on Friday will not be processed until Monday.
